About Indian Festivals Alliance (IFA)
Indian Festivals Alliance (IFA) embraces them all in one umbrella-organization that unifies audiences and artists, and enables visitors to come and experience the enjoyment of cultural festival events. All IFA members have in common significant objectives, incorporating artistic, cultural and social facets. They share the love for art, they are internationally oriented and they thrive on innovation. Each festival is set in its own very special context but all strive at generating a stimulating and collective, individual atmosphere among audiences and artists.
Furthermore, the ambition is to create an uplifting experience for a society, whereby each festival is a herald of innovation in art, and therefore an extremely positive exposure of the artists' work in a tolerant and open society. The aim of the IFA is to support festivals, promote festivals' significance and their important role in international cultural cooperation and societies today.
Over more than 3 years, the India World Cultural Forum has grown into a dynamic network representing more than 170 members in the field of music, dance, theatre, folk and multidisciplinary artists and cultural organizations from about 7 countries.
